Clash, McDonough hi-lite big MYWAY weekend
1/27 - The Michigan Youth Wrestling
Association will have a lot going on
this weekend headlined by the
"Clash Of The Titans" Duals which
feature all-star duals teams from
every region of the state doing battle
in the Middle School and Elementary
Divisions. MYWAY is also sending
an All-Star team to the super-
competetive McDonough Duals in Maryland. Throw in the 7 Individual Tournaments in each region going on across the state and it is a big weekend for MYWAY.
St. Johns and DCC Headed to Ohio
1/27 - In one of the year's most anticipated events,
St. Johns and Detroit Catholic Central will travel to
Ohio this weekend to wrestle head to head against
perennial national powerhouse St. Edward. In the
Intermat rankings St. Eds currently stands #2 while
St. johns is #3 and DCC comes in at #15. Both duals
are littered with phenomenal individual matchups and
have the potential to go down to the wire. Click more

Apland's Pin Seals Michigan Victory Over CMU
1/25 - With the dual still in the balance in the final match, senior/junior heavyweight Ben Apland (Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove South HS) earned a second-period fall to seal the No. 10-ranked University of Michigan wrestling team's 23-12 win over No. 19 Central Michigan on Sunday afternoon (Jan. 22) in front of 756 fans at Cliff Keen Arena. ...More....
Taylor Simaz Strains Ligament at DCC Tourney
1/25 - Two weeks ago at the Detroit Catholic Central Invitational, Taylor Simaz, a senior at Allegan who will continue his wrestling career at Cornell next year, strained a ligament in the left knee while wrestling Logan Marcicki of the host Shamrocks. ...More....
