Arthur wins FILA Cadet Greco Title
5/25 - The FILA Cadet Greco-Roman National
Championships were held today in Akron, Ohio with a
ton of Michigan talent on display. Michigan secured 8
All-American honors including Angus Arthur (pictured) of
St Johns who won the 187lb National Title. Arthur
landed a spot on the FILA Cadet World Team with his

Garcia scores win for Team USA against CA
5/25 - The Americas Cup weekend kicked off tonight in
Anaheim, CA with a Team USA vs Team California
featured dual meet at Eldorado High School. Three
Michigan wrestlers were featured on Team USA,
including Adrian State Champ Joe Garica (pictured) who
scored a 7-5 win over Tristian Ghilliand of Clovis,
California at 111lbs. Nick Vandermeer of Clarkston also
wrestled at 157lbs, falling 4-3 to CA State Champ Victor
Lopez. Schwan Shadaia of Rochester also competed at
182lbs falling to Sahrob Movedi of California. The
Americas Cup Duals will kick off tomorrow morning
with Team Michigan wrestling against Westide Wizards (CA), JK Trained (CA), and Team Nevada Gold.
Michigan HOF accepting nominations
The Michigan Chapter of the NWHOF is currently accepting nominations for it's 2013 induction class. The three categories are: Lifetime Service to Wrestling,
Outstanding American and Medal of Courage. Deadline for consideration is June 24th. For further information and nomination forms please email: mychalgrenawalt@sbcglobal.net The 2013 banquet and induction ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, September 15th.
CKWC Hosting "Best in Midwest" Training Camp
5/20 - An All-Star cast of clinicians will be at DCC next weekend for the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club "Best in the Midwest" Training Camp. The camps goes Friday May 31st through Saturday June 1st and will feature Olympians Jake Herbert and Andy Hrovat, along with 2x NCAA Champ and 2013 US Open Champ Kellen Russell and All-Americans Jimmy Kennedy, Tyrel Todd, and
Kyle Massey. All of the clinicians are members of the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club. For more information, click below.
