Jayhawk Grapplers scramble to 3-1 finish at Monen Bell Classic

The Muskegon Jayhawks were in action Saturday at Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Facing adversity and injuries after a gut-check 12-29 loss to UW-Plattville in the opening round, the Jayhawk wrestlers regained confidence and composure, rallying to win their next 3 dual meets.
The Jayhawks defeated Muskingum College 32-21, Calumet St. Joseph 34-9 and Manchester College 36-7. Several wrestlers had big days for Muskegon as Tommy Webster finished 4-0 at 133 lbs, Rusty Burgdorf was 2-0 at 141/149 lbs, Jovan Highbaugh was 3-0 at 141/149 lbs, Kinian Mack was 3-0 at 184 lbs, and Trent Flegel was 3-0 at 197 lbs.
