- Early Registration will open August 1st, 2011 and will close when capacity is met or on Sunday, September 11th at 10:00pm. Early Registration will take the first 250 paid entries and will only accept entries who are grade 7-12 for the 2010-11 school year and meet at least one of the following criteria:
**Returning Grappler Fall Classic Placewinners (1st-8th)**Varsity High School Individual State Champtionships Qualifier for all states except for Michigan.**Top 4 Placers from NUWAY affiliated 2011 State Championship (MYWAY,OURWAY,HYWAY,etc.)- Late Registration will be open to all wrestlers grade 7th thru 12th for the 2011-2012 school year. Late Registration will open Monday, September 12th at 8:00am and will remain open until the tournament capacity of 500 paid entries is met.
Last year's Grappler Fall Classic received over 400 pre-registered wrestlers and with projected tournamentgrowth we expect to meet our capacity of 500 entries this year. If capacity is not met then LateRegistration will end on October 12th, 2011.Wrestlers can register online on this site on or after August 1st.
Format: 1 day event, Folkstyle Wrestling, Adapted High School rules with college riding time and extended out-of-bounds rules incorporated.
Match Length: 2-2-2 Championship Rounds, 2-1-1 Consolation Rounds
Awards: Custom Plaques for Top 8 Placers, Custom Award for Outstanding Wrestler and Most Falls Award.
Seeding - Up to 12 seeded wrestlers in each weight class based on in-state success and national accomplishments. Registration deadline to be considered for seeding will be Saturday, October 8th at 10pm.
Age: High School Grades 9th-12th.
7th and 8th graders may enter with Parent Waiver (waiver will be available at Weigh-ins)
Weights: 98, 105, 112, 119, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 152, 160, 171, 189, 215, 285 (no weight allowance)
Weigh-Ins: Weigh-Ins will take place Friday, October 14th from 6-8pm at Tecumseh High School.
Wrestlers will be required to wear a singlet when weighing in.
We will also hold a late weigh-in on Saturday morning for Football players, however those wrestlers will need to notify us on or before Wednesday, October 12th of their intent to weigh-in late.
Weight Class Changes - Upon registration you will enter your weight class. If you choose to change that weight you will need to do so at least 24 hours prior to the start of weigh-ins via E-Mail. There will be no weight-changes at the time of weigh in. Send weight changes to grapplerclassic@michigangrappler.com.

October 15th - Late Weigh-Ins for High School Football Players (6-6:30am at THS)
October 15th - High School Division wrestling begins at 8am and goes to completion
October 16th - Middle School & Elementary Division wrestling begins at 8am and goes to completion
