Franco Valdes (Florida) 140lbs

Valdes is a 4x FL State Finalist and 2 State Champion.  He is also a past GFC Runner-Up.

Kordell Norfleet (Illinois), 189lbs

Norfleet is a returning Illinois State Champion who is also fresh off a title at the Indiana Pre-Season Open.  He was a 2x GFC Middle School champ looking to add a HS title to his resume!

Mike Mars (Michigan), 119lbs

Mars has won D1 state titles his first two seasons and is a past GFC Champion.

Trey Bates (Tennessee), MS 90lbs

Bates is bringing some heat from the Volunteer state!  The 5x Tennessee State Champ has placed at numerous major national events including Liberty Nationals and the Ohio TOC.

Elijiah Spencer (Ohio), EL 75lbs

Spencer is a Ohio State Champ and past Super 32 and Viper Pit Champion.

Devon Kozel (Michigan), 285lbs

Kozel adds some punch to the heavyweight division!  He is a returning D4 State Runner-Up and coming in off an All-American performance at the Disney Duals last summer.

Zachary Welker (Wisconsin), EL 70lbs

Welker is a Wisconsin State Champ and USAW Preseason National all-american.

Ty Mills (Indiana), 125

Mills was 3rd in the state in one-class Indiana last year and was IN State Runner-Up two years ago.  He is also a past NHSCA, Junior Freestyle, and GFC All-American. 

Braeden Davis (Michigan), EL 75lbs

Davis is one of the most nationally accomplished youth wrestlers in Michigan the past few years.  He has won the Trinity Award - winning the Tulsa Kickoff, Tulsa Nationals, and Reno Worlds in the same year.  He is also a 3x GFC Champ and multiple time Ohio TOC Champ.

Jarrett Trombley (Michigan), 135lbs

Trombley is a 2x MI State Champ, winning in his freshman and sophomore campaigns.  He is also a returning GFC Champ, winning the 119lb title over PA Standout Gage Curry last year.  Trombley is currently ranked #12 in the country by FloWrestling at 126lbs.

Brandon Klein (Wisconsin), 135lbs

Klein was a 2015 Wisconsin D1 State Champion and placed top 4 at the Indiana Preseason Open earlier this month.

Robert Precin (Illinois), 125lbs

Precin was a Cadet Freestyle and Folkstyle All-American this past off-season.  He was 7th in Fargo at 120lbs and 3rd last spring at the Folkstyle Nationals.  

Joe Koontz (Ohio), 152lbs

Koontz is a returning GFC Champ, winning the 145lb title last year over FL State Champ Julian Ramirez.  The Massillon Perry, OH product is also fresh off winning the Indiana Preseason Open.

Kamden Hughes (Ohio), EL 85lbs

Hughes is a 2x Ohio State Champ and a Liberty Nationals Champ among his long list of national credentials.

John Siemasz (Michigan), 140lbs

Siemasz is a 2x Michigan D1 State Placer including a State Runner-Up finish last year.  He was also an NHSCA All-American last year who was runner-up at the IHPO tournament earlier this month.

Garrett Lautzenheiser (Ohio), MS 95lbs

Lautzenheiser is a returning Ohio Tournament of Champions winner and OAC All-Stater.

Donnell Washington (Illinois), 135lb

Washington is a returning Illinois State Finalist, finishing runner-up at 120lbs last year as a freshman.  He is a GFC regular and a past Champion from the Elementary Division.

Cooper Davidson-Haase (Florida), MS & ELEM 85lbs

Davidson-Haase is a returning GFC Runner-Up who also placed at the Super 32, Tulsa Nationals, & Reno Worlds.

Nick Kiussis (Ohio), 160lbs

The Champ is back! Returning GFC Champ Nick Kiussis of Ohio knocked off 2x MI State Champ Blake Montrie in the finals last year and is back for his 2nd title.  He is a returning Ohio D1 State Runner-Up.

Zachary Braunagel (Illinois), 171lbs

Zach Braunagel is a returning IL State Placer who also was an NHSCA Sophomore National Runner-Up last spring and Cadet Freestyle All-American this summer.

Danny Braunagel (Illinois), 152lbs

The smaller of the Braunagel twins was a Illinois State Runner-Up last year and also was a Cadet Freestyle All-American in Fargo last summer.

Hassan Johnson (Illinois), 119lbs

Johnson is a returning IL State Placer who was GFC Runner-Up in a loaded 105lb bracket last year losing to Rayvon Foley in a wild finals match.  He also won the Grand River Rumble over the summer beating MI State Champ Mike Mars and won the IHPO tournament earlier this month beating nationally ranked Fargo champ Corey Gamet.

Diata Drayton (Illinois), 215lbs

Drayton is a returning IL State Placer, finishing 4th in the 3A State Tournament last year at 220lbs.  He is also fresh off winning the Indiana Mat Pre-Season Open earlier this month.

Robert Patrick (Pennsylvania), 160lbs

Patrick is a returning PA State Qualifier and 2015 PA State Runner-Up who earned UWW Cadet Freestyle All-American honors last spring.

Logan Montora (Ohio), EL 85lbs

Montoya is a returning OH State Runner-Up who won the USAW Postseason Nationals last year.

Sean McKenna (Illinois), 119lbs

McKenna, who wrestles for Illinois powerhouse Marmion Academy, was a 2015 Cadet Freestyle All-American in Fargo and was one of the top ranked IL 106lbers last year before missing the State Tournament series.

Connor Gaynor (Illinois), MS 110lbs

Gaynor is a returning USAW Folkstyle All-American and won the Grand River Rumble open this summer.

Jacob Edwards (Ohio), 112

Edwards is a returning OH State Runner-Up from powerhouse program Troy Christian HS and adds to a LOADED 112lb weight class for the GFC!

Patrick DePiazza (Michigan), 285

DePiazza was 4th in the D2 State Tournament last year and is among the favorites to win the state this year as the highest returning placer in his weight.

Carlos Champagne (Illinois), 125lbs

Champagne is a 2x IL State Placer who was 2A State Runner-Up last year for Marian Catholic High School.

Nick Freeman (Michigan), 135lb

Freeman is a 2x State Placer who broke out last summer, earning Cadet All-American status in both Freestyle and Greco Roman in Fargo.  He enters GFC ranked #17 in the country at 132lbs by FloWrestling.

Ben Freeman (Michigan), 140lbs

Freeman is one of the top seniors in Michigan this year as the 3x state champ will pursue the elusive 4th state title this year.  He is nationally ranked FloNational runner-up, multiple Fargo All-American in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman, and a returning GFC Runner-Up.

Sean O'Hearon (Michigan), 135lbs

O'Hearon is a returning D4 State Champion who also had a great off-season, going 4-1 at the Midwest Grand Challenge and winning the Grand River Rumble Open.

Cash Thompson (Michigan), 171lbs

Returning GFC Runner-Up Cash Thompson is coming back to GETSOME and look for a title this year, registered at 171lbs.  Thompson won the D3 171lb state title last year.

Darius Marines (Michigan), MS & ELEM 80lbs

Darius Marines of Michigan, a returning Border Wars National Champ, is getting some in both the elementary and middle school divisions this year!  Marines, registered at 80lbs in both divisions, is a Greco National Champ who placed at FloNationals and the Ohio TOC last spring.

Anthony Gallagher (Michigan), 112lbs

Gallagher is a returning State Champ, winning the D3 103lb title last year.  With Gallagher, the GFC 112lb bracket now has the returning 103lb Michigan state champs from D1, D2, and D3!

Kyle Hatch (Indiana), 160lbs

Hatch is a 2x Indiana State Placer and was also a USAW Junior Folkstyle All-American last year.

Jeffrey Thomas (Ohio), 130lbs

The younger Thomas brother was Ohio State Runner-Up at 113lbs last year as a freshman for national powerhouse St Paris Graham High School.

Ryan Thomas (Ohio), 160lbs

The elder Thomas brother is a 2x Ohio State Placer finishing 3rd in the state his freshman and sophomore years.

Chandler Murton (MIchigan), MS 170lb

Murton is a returning GFC Runner-Up who has also won MYWAY State Titles and placed at the Ohio TOC and USAW Nationals in his career.

Richie McClanahan (Florida), 140lbs

McClanahan is a 3x state placer finishing 2nd as a freshman, winning the state title as sophomore and finishing 3rd last year as a junior.  His sophomore year he won the title over Jake Brindley who is currently ranked top 5 in the country and this is is his first trip to GETSOME at the GFC.

Markus Hartman (Illinois), 145lbs

Hartman is a returning State Placer from Illinois who comes in fresh off a Fargo Double All-American showing where he was Cadet Freestyle National Runner-Up and 3rd in Greco.  He is currently ranked #20 in the country at 145lbs by FloWrestling.

Jesse Mendez (Indiana), MS 95lbs

Mendez is a returning GFC Champion and USAW Folkstyle National Champion.

Dylan Gilcher (Michigan), MS 75lbs

Gilcher is a returning GFC Champ and also won the Super 32 and Tulsa Nationals last year.

Jacob Liberator (Illinois) ELEM 105lbs

Liberatore won the Baderland, Gopher, and Midwest Nationals last year.

Carson Manville (Virginia), 119lbs

Returning GFC double champ Carson Manville of Virginia is coming back to defend his title!  Manville won the GFC Middle School and High School division last year at 98lbs and 100lbs and this year he is in it at 119.  Manville is one of the best middle school wrestlers in the country after winning the USAW Triple Crown last year with a Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco National Title.

Pierson Manville (Virginia), ELEM 75lbs

The younger Manville won the Virginia State Triple Crown last year and will be a force at the GFC Elementary Division!

Rayvon Foley (Michigan), 105lbs

The Champ is Back!  Rayvon Foley put on a show last year at the GFC tearing through a loaded 105lb bracket and he will look for an encore this year.  Foley is currently ranked 3rd in the country at 106lbs coming off an impressive runner-up finish at the Junior Freestyle Nationals.

Carter Neves (Ohio), ELEM 105lbs

Neves is as decorated a 6th grader as you will find. Ohio State Champ, Liberty National Champ, TOC Champ, Dixie National Champ, and Border Wars National CHamp.

Dominic Lomazzo (Michigan), MS 105lbs

Lomazzo is a 3x GFC Champ and former Elementary Division Outstanding Wrestler.  He is one of the top middle school wrestlers in Michigan and a former MI Youth Wrestler of The Year.

Paul Konrath (Indiana), 130lbs

Konrath will come to the GFC as hot as anyone.  He was a Junior Freestyle Runner-Up in Fargo, won the USAW Junior Folkstyle Nationals and was 3rd at FloNationals last spring.  He is currently ranked 10th in the country and was a 2014 GFC Runner-Up.

Nathan Atienza (Michigan), 152lbs

Atienza is the returning Division 1 State Champion in Michigan and a returning GFC placer as he lost a close one point match to eventual champion Joe Koontz of OH in the semis last year.  This year he is back at 152 to #GETSOME

Dylan Kohn (Florida), MS 105lbs

Florida Youth State Champ and USAW Folkstyle National All-American Dylan Kohn of Oviedo, FL is bringing some star power to the GFC MS division from the Sunshine State!

The elder Kohn, Devin Kohn, a returning FL High School State Placer is registered in the high school division at 130lbs.  

Isaiah Berry (Michigan), 119lbs

Berry was a state qualifier at 103 last year and one of the top contenders, however, was unable to compete at the state meet.  He was undefeated at the Grand River Rumble including a win over IN State Runner-Up Mejia (also registered at 119).

Kavan Sarver (Ohio), 189lbs

Ohio continues to show up for the GFC!  Another stud from St Paris Graham High School is registered, returning 3rd place finisher Kaven Sarver is coming to #GETSOME at 189lbs.

Another recent Ohio all-stater to register is Brandon Lucas who was 5th in the state as a freshman two years ago before suffering season ending injury last year.  Lucas is in at 112.

Ashton Habeil (Florida), 145lbs

Habeil is one of the top incoming freshman in the country after finishing State Runner-Up in Florida last year at 132lbs as an 8th grader!  (8th graders in Florida are allowed to compete in the 1A State Tournament).  He will bring his talents north for the GFC on October 1st!

Eli Boulton (Michigan), 215lbs

Returning Michigan State Runner-Up Eli Boulton of Lowell High School is among a large group of Michigan state placers to register as of late to #GETSOME at the GFC.

Other state placers to sign up recently including Kyle Borthwell (105), Stone Moscovic (125), Chris Fauson (130), Noah Nieman (145).

Garrett Model (Wisconsin), 145lbs

Model is a returning Wisconsin State Champ, winning the D1 State Title last year at 138lbs.  He will be one of the heavy hitters in the GFC 145lb division.

Zach Melloh (Indiana), 140lbs

Melloh is a returning GFC placer who was 4th in the state of Indiana as a freshman two years ago. 

Diamonte Perry (Florida), 112lbs

Perry is a 2x FL State Placer including a State Runner-Up finish a year ago.  He is also a returning GFC placer.  The 112lb bracket is shaping up with state champs Ben Kamali & Corey Gamet of MI as well as nationally ranked Jordan Crace of Ohio and now Perry.

Christian Febus, a Lake Gibson HS teammate of Perry, and also a returning FL State Runner-Up, registered as well at 152lbs.

Quaylon Newton (Michigan), MS 80lbs

Newton was a MYWAY State Champion last year and is a returning GFC Runner-Up.

AJ Facundo (Michigan), 125lbs

Facundo is a 2x D1 State Finalist winning the 112lb title as a freshman and finishing runner-up at 119 last year.  The Davison junior is sure to be one of the best lightweights in Michigan this year.

A slew of other Michigan state qualifiers and placers registered in the last few days, including Isaac Lefler (119), Stone Moscovic (125), Tony Williams (135), Joseph Muzzin (145), Bret Fedewa (152) & Will Feldkamp (189)

Casey Swiderski (Michigan), MS 85lbs

Swiderski is one of the top MS wrestlers in Michigan and returning MYWAY State Champ.  He is also a 2x GFC champ and returning FloNational, Tulsa National & TOC placer.

Tyler Swiderski (Michigan), MS 105 & HS 98

Tyler Swiderski opted to wrestled both MS and HS divisions.  He is a GFC veteran, placing multiple times, and also a returning FloNational and Tulsa Nationals placer.

Cameron Amine (Michigan), 140lbs

Amine broke out last year winning the D1 125lb State Title as a freshman and he continued off that momentum over the summer, earning double Cadet all-american honors in Fargo.  He is one of the top ranked wrestlers in the class of 2019 nationwide and an early favorite at 140lbs for the GFC.

Alek Martin (Ohio), MS 110lbs

Martin is a returning Ohio Junior High State Champ.  The St Paris Graham product is also a former USAW Folkstyle National Runner-Up.

Josiah Gittman (Florida), 189lbs

South Florida is bringing the heat to the GFC!  Returning 189lb FL State Champ Josiah Gittman of St Thomas Aquinas HS joins teammate Grant Aronoff who registered earlier this month.

 

Robert Lefevre (Michigan), 125lbs

LeFevre is a returning State Champ after going undefeated last year en route to the D4 state title.  He is also a returning GFC placer, finishing 8th last year at 119lbs.

Micah Hanau (Michigan), MS 90lbs

Hanau was 4th at the GFC last year in the MS division and is a returning MYWAY State Champion.

Dawson Combest (Indiana) 130lbs

Combest is a returning Indiana state placer where they have a one-division format.  

Other recent Indiana signups are IHSAA State Qualifiers Lukasz Walendzak (112) and Oszkar Kasch (160).

Noah Gochberg (Texas) MS 95lbs

Gochberg is one of the top 8th graders in the country.  He is the returning GFC Champ and also won the Monster Match Nationals last year.  He is a Texas State champ and tore it up at the Schoolboy Duals going undefeated in both styles.

Breyden Bailey (Indiana), 135lbs

Bailey will be one of the top seniors in Indiana this year.  In one-division Indiana he has been 3rd in the state every year of his career and has been competitive nationally throughout, placing 7th at the GFC last year and also placing at the Journeymen Classic.  A potential matchup with him and nationally ranked Grant Aronoff (FL) who registered earlier this month could be a good one.

Trevor Robinson (Michigan), 130lbs

Robinson, a sophomore, was a D3 State Runner-Up as a freshman last year at 125lbs, which is not an easy thing to do.  He is returning to the GFC and will look to earn his first GFC All-American honor.

Mikey Lewarchick (Ohio), MS 90lbs

Lewarchick was a Ohio Junior High State Runner-Up last year and has been one of the top guys in Ohio the past few years consistently.  He also won the Viper Pit last year and is looking to #GETSOME at the GFC.

Jared Ball (Ohio) 189lbs

Ball has qualified for the Ohio Division 1 State Tournament both years of his prep career including a 3rd place finish at 160lbs last year.

Kevon Davenport (Michigan) 130lbs

Davenport had a breakout freshman season last year where he won the D1 state title and then capped it off with a Cadet Freestyle All-American showing in Fargo last summer.

Ben Kamali (Michigan), 119lbs

Kamali was the D1 State champ at 103lbs last year and a returning GFC placer.  He also finished runner-up at the FloNationals and was a Cadet Freestyle All-American in Fargo.

Nolan Wertanen (Michigan), MS 75lbs

Wertanen won the MYWAY State Tournament and the Ohio Tournament of Champions last year.

Derek Smallwood (Kentucky), 152lbs

Smallwood, a KY State Placer, was also a NHSCA Sophomore National Runner-Up last year.

Manuel Rojas (Michigan), MS 130lbs

Rojas is a returning MYWAY State Champ who pinned through the state tournament last spring and one of Michigan's top middle school wrestlers this year.

Branson Proudlock (Michigan), 119lbs

Proudlock exploded last year at the State Tournament knocking off GFC Runner-Up Austin Franco en route to a State Runner Up finish and was undefeated at the Grand River Rumble last summer.

Michigan D1 3x State Placer Jack Medley also recently registered at 119.  Medley was 3rd in D1 in Michigan last year at 112.

Donte Rivera Garcia (Michigan), 125lbs

Garcia was a D1 State Runner-Up at 125lbs last year and is in the GFC at 125.  He is a 3x D1 State Placer and a 3x GFC placer.

Riley Bettich (Michigan) 98lbs

Bettich is one of the best MS wrestlers in Michigan and is wrestlign up in the high school division.  He was MYWAY State Champ and NUWAY National Champ last year.

Jordan Crace (Ohio), 112lbs

This former GFC Middle School Champ is back for a crack at the HS division.  Crace was 3rd in the state in Ohio last year as a freshman and is currently ranked top 20 in the country by FloWrestling.  He is the 2nd nationally ranked wrestler to enter at 112lbs.

Corey Gamet (Michigan), 112lbs

One of the hottest lightweights in the country!  Corey Gamet, fresh off his Cadet Freestyle National Title in Fargo is signed up to #GETSOME at the GFC.  Gamet was 3rd @ GFC last year and a returning Division 2 State Champion who is currently ranked #9 in the country at 113lbs.

Logan Kennedy (Michigan), 285lbs

One of the best big men in Michigan this year - Kennedy was a D4 State Runner-Up last year at 285lbs with a 49-6 record and is the top ranked 285lber in the state entering his senior year.

Ashton Eyler (Ohio), 170lbs

Eyler is a returning Division 2 State Placer from Ohio and a 2x Ohio State Qualifier.  He was also 6-0 at the Grand River Rumble this summer in Michigan.

Colt Yinger (Ohio), 152lbs

Here comes Ohio!  Colt Yinger, who finished 3rd in the Ohio State Tournament last year and placed 4th at the NHSCA Sophomore Nationals is registered to #GETSOME at 152.  Yinger continues a long list of Ohio studs who have come to the GFC!

Kam Bush (Michigan), 152lbs

Returning D1 State Champ Kam Bush of Michigan is registered to #GETSOME at the GFC.  The former TOC runner-up and Cadet Folkstyle National Champ is one of Michigan's top seniors this year.

Other Michigan all-staters to register lately include State Runner-Up Trent Lashuay (140)  as well as D2 placer Trevor Piggot (215)

Andrew Chambal (Michigan), 98lbs

The 98lb weight class already has a favorite as Andrew Chambal of Michigan, who put himself on the map last month in Fargo, signed up recently.  Chambal was a double Cadet All-American in Fargo, placing 2nd in Greco and 3rd in Freestyle.  He was also a UWW Cadet Pan-Am Champion, Cadet Folkstyle National Champion, and UWW Cadet Freestyle & Greco All-American.

CHRISTIAN MEJIA (INDIANA), 119lbs

Christian Mejia, a returning Indiana State Runner-Up at 113lbs, headlines a strong cast of Indiana grapplers to sign up early for the GFC.  Note that Indiana is a one-class state, so their state accolades are more impressive than most.

Other returning Indiana High School State Placers to register include Jordan Rader (171) and Hunter Watts (119),.

Ryan Vasbinder (Michigan), 215lbs

Ryan Vasbinder, who was 3rd in the Michigan D2 State Tournament at 189 last year and a FloNational All-American, is among the first to register for the 2016 GFC.  Vasbinder is among the best big senior men in the state of Michigan this year and ready to show what he's got and #GETSOME at the GFC!

Additional Michigan state placers to sign up early include JD Greathouse (135) & Matt Heaps (160).

Grant Aronoff (Florida), 135lbs

The 7th Annual Grappler Fall Classic registration is open and the big names are already pouring in.  The biggest name to sign up so far is returning GFC Champ, Florida State Champ and NHSCA Sophomore National Champ Grant Aronoff of St Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.

Aronoff, an incoming junior, is currently ranked #11 in the country at 135lbs by FloWrestling.
