D2 #5 Eaton Rapids def. D4 #8 Springport, 52-13
A good late season test for both squads as they look to make their runs towards Kalamazoo.  The Greyhounds' depth was simply too much for Springport, taking eleven bouts.  At 160, D2 #2 Austin O'Hearon scored a nice win over D4 #3 Noah Teague, 16-5.  Springport did own the upper weights, though, and won all three matches from 189 to 285.

Rockford def. Grandville, 34-29
The classic OK-Red rivalry came down to the final match of the dual with Jack Tadych pinning up a pin to give the Rams the win at home.  In the penultimate match, Jesse Veldhouse was the beneficiary of a locked hands call and then added an escape, all in the last ten seconds, to win 2-1.  There's a chance the teams could see each other again at Regionals, should Grandville upset Hudsonville at Districts.

Escanaba def. Gladstone, 39-36
Just fifteen minutes separates these two U.P. powers, and it was Escanaba coming out on top with a three-point victory.  Several intriguing individual matchups throughout the dual, but the most notable came at 140 between two super sophomores - Hunter Larson and Cole Hansen.  Larson won the match by fall.

D3 #2 Richmond def. D3 #6 Algonac, 46-15
While we don't have a box score to break down the notable individual matches yet, Richmond did take down BWAC rival Algonac.  Algonac jumped out to a 12-0 to lead off the dual but it was all Richmond from then on.  One result of note, #3 Mike Nykoriak  of Algonac defeated #2 Tyler Marino at heavyweight.  The teams will meet again next week for Team Districts.
