District 25-4 (Munising)
Toughest weight: 112 lbs
#10 Parker Stroud, Iron Mountain
HM Joe Derocha, Ishpeming Westwood
Notes: Likely a rematch between the freshman Stroud and returning state qualifier Derocha.  Stroud won the prior meeting by fall.  Also look for returning regional qualifiers Jordan Cebulski of Charlevoix and Aidan Fry of Onaway to contend.

District 26-4 (Oscoda)
Toughest weight: 189 lbs
#3 Tim Rizor, Pine River
#5 Ridge Schutte, Whittemore Prescott
Notes: In a district that is two deep in most weights, we picked the one with potential for the best match.  Rizor and Schutte have met once this season with Rizor winning 4-2.  Two years ago Schutte won both matches in the district and regional finals.  Last year Rizor was 2nd in the state, Schutte was 3rd.  Should be a great matchup.

District 27-4 (Ravenna)
Toughest weight: 125 lbs
#2 Noah Cantu, Hart
#3 Jaron Johnson, Carson City
#4 Mack Baird, Hesperia
#5 Curtis Perry, Lakeview
#8 Hunter Carr, Kent City
HM Kevin Spoelman, Ravenna
Notes:  Super tough one here, with five ranked inside the top-eight and returning state qualifier on top of that.  The top four are separated by very little; Cantu beat Baird in OT, Baird beat Perry 4-1, Johnson has three losses.  Seeding could play a huge part, but the top four through here will have earned it.

District 28-4 (Mayville)
Toughest weight: 152 lbs
#3 Zack Riley, New Lothrop
#8 Isaac Howd, St. Louis
#9 Cameron Austin, Beaverton
#10 Max Kukulski, Vassar
Notes: Three state qualifiers - Riley, Austin, and Kukulski - and Howd, a regional qualifier.  On paper, it looks like Riley would be the safe bet to win the district, but the other three are solid as well.  Howd beat Austin 12-1 earlier, in the only head-to-head of the group.

District 29-4 (Lutheran Westland)
Toughest weight: 152 lbs
#5 Cody Hartz, Sandusky
#6 Jeffrey Konz, Clinton
HM Ryan Lakatos, Sand Creek
Notes: All three should be safe to get through here, but the order in which they come out could go either way.  Lakatos was 8th in state last season, the other two qualified.  However, Konz has two wins over Lakatos this year.  Hartz is having a strong season, with just three losses currently - none of which were against D4 opponents.

District 30-4 (Manchester)
Toughest weight: 103 lbs

#4 Jared Bunn, Manchester
#5 Jake Bunn, Manchester
#8 Blake Baker, Dansville
Notes: I think you'll probably see both Bunn's make it to the finals here, and more than likely not wrestle, as is often the case when siblings are matched up.  Jared has two wins over Baker on the year, 16-0 and 13-0 were the scores of those.

District 31-4 (Hudson)
Toughest weight: 160 lbs
#3 Jacob Roberts, Athens
#6 Ethan LoPresto, Reading
#7 John Betz, Hudson
#10 Ruger Ranney, Bronson
Notes: A really solid group of four at the Hudson regional.  Ranney and LoPresto have split matches on the season, with Ranney winning the most recent matchup.  Roberts is the favorite, as he has just two losses and was 4th in the state a season ago.  Betz will be in the mix also, a state qualifier himself, and definitely battle-tested with Hudson's schedule.

District 32-4 (Lawton)
Toughest weight: 125 lbs
#6 Romeo Lopez, Decatur
#7 Nick Baldwin, Lawton
#9 Gary Cramer, Schoolcraft
#10 Lincoln Strawser, White Pigeon
Notes: This weight will jockey for position in the back half of the rankings with four ranked from 6-10.  Lopez has wins over both Baldwin and Cramer, by 2 and 1 point, respectively.  Cramer has two wins over Strawser by fall.  So probably a three horse race for the title.
