2019 Grappler Fall Classic - East Lansing, MI - October 5th - #GETSOME

Michigan landed its second top-50 recruit in the Class of 2020 after Gaige Garcia of Southern Columbia, PA announced his intention to wrestle and play football for the Wolverines.  He is tabbed as the #22 senior recruit according to Flowrestling, joining #49 Fidel Mayora who verballed earlier this month.

Garcia won a state title in 2019 after placing third and fifth in Pennsylvania's AA division the previous two years.  He also won the NHSCA Sophomore Nationals in 2018.  Flowrestling has him ranked 4th at 195 lbs currently and he projects at 197 lbs.

The task of handling both sports at the Division 1 level is certainly a daunting one, but Fresno State's Josh Hokit proved that it's not impossible as he was an All-American in 2019 after spending the fall on the gridiron.
