Day Four at Fargo was all Junior Freestyle, as the Men's finals and medal matches took place and the Women's tournament started.  Both of the Men's All-Americans won their matches, while the Women advanced one to a Wednesday morning semifinal.

Chayse LaJoie took care of business in the 3rd place bout at 120 lbs, picking up an 11-1 tech fall of Destin Summers of Idaho.  The win capped off a nine-win tournament for the two-time State Champ.  LaJoie will now look to defend his Greco championship from a year ago later this week.

At 152, Derek Gilcher also recorded his ninth win as he too scored a tech fall, 17-6, over Minnesota's Cael Carlson to place 7th.  Gilcher lost his second round match to the eventual champion before rattling off seven consecutive wins, and winning eight of his final nine matches.

Sparta's Rayana Sahagun was the only one on the Women's side to advance to Day 2 of competition.  Sahagun picked up a fall, two techs, and an 8-2 win, putting herself into the semifinals at 100 lbs.  Ranked 7th in the country, she'll take on #6 Jessica Corredor of Florida in the semis.

All six girls who entered the Junior portion won at least two matches in the tournament.  Johanna Palshan and Bo Geibe were the next closest to an All-American finish, coming within two wins of making the podium.

The Junior Women's semis kick off at 10:00 am EST, as does the Cadet Greco tournament.  The medal matches for Junior Women's Freestyle start at 3:30 pm EST.
