MSU added another California hammer to its 2020 recruiting class with Tristan Lujan announcing his commitment to the Spartans.  Lujan had earlier committed to Fresno State, and hails from national power Selma High School.

Currently ranked #15 at 120 lbs by Flowrestling and is the #64 overall senior in the country by their rankings.  He won a state title in single-division California a year ago, and was 4th as a sophomore.  Nationally, his best work came in 2018, where he won NHSCA Sophomore Nationals, was 7th at UWW Cadet Freestyle Nationals, and 4th at Super 32.

He joins fellow-Californian Chase Saldate and newly-crowned GFC champ Eddie Homrock in what looks to be a stellar early class for Coach Chandler.  Lujan projects at 125 and could be a perfect replacement should All-American Rayvon Foley outgrow the weight.
