The top-ranked senior and pound-for-pound #1 girl in the state is off the Big Board as Rayana Sahagun of Sparta announced her commitment to The University of Jamestown.  Jamestown is currently ranked 2nd in the NAIA Coaches Top-20 poll.

Sahagun is coming off a big junior year in which she won the inaugural Girls State Championship and advanced to the finals of the Junior Freestyle Nationals.  She also placed 5th at the Women's Nationals in May.

Currently ranked 7th at 103 lbs in D2 and 1st at 105 for Girls, Sahagun also ranks 3rd in the USAWrestling/Flowrestling Preseason National Rankings.  She'll head to Jamestown, which is located in Jamestown, North Dakota, and will join Southgate Anderson grad Jacqueline Parks, who starts at 143 pounds for the Jimmies.
