17 Earn Auto Bids to NCAA Championships

Over the weekend 17 Michigan natives earned automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 19-21.  Also of note, CMU's Dresden Simon was named Outstanding Wrestler at the MAC Championships and CMU Head Coach Tom Borrelli was Co-Coach of the Year in the conference - shared with NIU Head Coach and Chelsea native Ryan Ludwig.  

Michigan, MSU, and CMU all have qualified six wrestlers to NCAA's, with at-large selections still to come later this afternoon.  Take a look at the 17 qualifiers, which is tied for 4th-most all-time in state history.
