Division Changes for 2021 Season

The MHSAA published the 2020-21 School Division Lists and with that comes another wave of taking a look at the landscape in each division.  This year's shakeup will see three teams who qualified for Team State in 2020 make a move to a different division.  Montrose will move down to Division 4, Hart will move up to Division 3, and Fremont will move up to Division 2.  Another notable move is Whitehall sliding back down to Division 3 after being up in D2 this season.  Check out the rest of the moves below.

D1 to D2: Battle Creek Central, Carman Ainsworth

D2 to D1: East Lansing, Fenton, Forest Hills Northern, Hamtramck, Mattawan
D2 to D3: Benton Harbor, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, Whitehall

D3 to D2: Dearborn Hts. Annapolis, Fremont, Madison Hts. Bishop Foley, Paw Paw, Godwin Heights
D3 to D4: Lake City, Montrose, Mt. Morris, Perry

D4 to D3: Hart, Kent City, Lutheran Westland, Quincy
