One of the bigger upsets we've seen so far is Bedford over Rockford in the team state quarterfinals.  Rockford outscored the Mules by nearly 100 pts, but were taken out of the team run early.  Holt was pretty dominant on the team side, taking out both Davison and Hartland, who were 3rd and 4th.  Seven of the top 15 teams were team state qualifiers.

Another interesting one in D2 were Mason totally rolled through the individual portion but did not qualify for team state.  Eaton Rapids took them out in the regional before making a finals run.  Greenville won it all; they were 4th individually.  Only half of the team state qualifying teams were in the top 25.  Also, the 7th to 20th place separation was only 20 points.

The top two teams held in each format, with Goodrich narrowly finishing ahead of Dundee in both.  Swan Valley also looked like the clear #3, as they were team semifinalists and 3rd individually.

Semifinals
Hesperia def. New Lothrop, 40-33
Manchester def. Springport, 45-24

Finals
Hesperia def. Manchster, 48-24

Super competitive division with Hesperia just a notch ahead of the pack in both formats.  Seven of the top 11 teams qualified for team state, which made for a super competitive field.  Interestingly, the biggest point margin was in the finals; four of the seven duals were decided by single-digit points.
