Two big-time recruits announced their collegiate plans in the last 24 hours: Dakota's Brendan Ferretti is heading to Navy and Dundee's Stoney Buell is heading to Purdue.

Ferretti has a pair of state titles under his belt, adding a 3rd-place finish as a freshman.  He was a GFC finalist in 2017 and placed 4th in 2018.  Ranked as a top-five senior in Michigan, he'll project at 125/133 pounds for new Midshipmen Head Coach Cary Kolat.

Buell would look to become the 3rd wrestler ever to win 8 state titles this year, as he would be in position to chase a 4th individual title and 4th team title.  He made a splash on the national scene last summer, winning the 16U freestyle national title in Fargo.  The future Boilermaker is the #2 wrestler in Michigan's senior class and projects at 165/174 pounds.
