#1 Dundee vs #8 Hart

#1 Dundee Weight #8 Hart
#1 Nutt/#2 Haines 106 Chavira/Dodge
#4 Broderick/Viers 113 E.Ortega
#1 Kluce/Amrhein 120 #16 Boos
#1 C.Chinavare 126 Martinez/Thomas
#1 B.Davis/#4 Beaufait 132 #8 Tate
#1 K.Chinavare/#6 Redmon 138 Jorissen
#1 Cosby/#5 Parker 144 #16 Salgado/Velasquez
#5 Katschor/#1 (157) A.Davis 150 #15 G.Ortega
157 #14 Hicks/Vilchis-Mendoza
#4 Fenbert/Collins 165
175 #11 Thomas/Vasquez
King/Salenbien 190
Lephew/Massingill 215 Tice
285 Lara

Outlook: Dundee is rolling into Kalamazoo with seven top-ranked wrestlers and will take on Hart, who is once again back in the quarterfinals.  The Pirates qualified six for the individual state tournament and should have chance to win a couple matches in the upper weights.  There's a good chance we'll see some lineup swapping from the Vikings, but unlike most teams, their "backups" are ranked in the top-five.

#4 Clinton vs #5 Constantine

#4 Clinton Weight #5 Constantine
Arntz 106 Osborne
#5 Long 113 Vavul
#2 Busz 120 Like
#2 C.Younts 126 #10 Geibe
Shadley/Badge 132 C.Featherstone
#9 Ames 138 M.Featherstone
Jones 144 #11 Jones/Gross
#9 E.Younts 150
157 Godfrey
#8 Randolph 165 Smith
Lakatos 175 Hawthorne
190 #1 Demas
Hicks 215 #2 VandenBerg/#11 (285) Reed
Rafferty 285

Outlook:  A solid quarterfinal here with somewhat mirror opposite lineups.  Clinton's strength lies in their lower weights, while Constantine has an experienced and talented upper weight group.  The RedWolves have a little more flexibility with their lineup and on paper look to be favorites in at least eight matches.  However, the Falcons have been game all season and could make this very interesting.

#3 Whitehall vs #6 Gladstone

#3 Whitehall Weight #6 Gladstone
Manzo 106 Spriks
Raider/Waller 113 #2 Hansen/#10 Terrien
Taranko 120 Britton
Varela/Krukowski 126 Belanger
132
Christensen/English 138 #6 (144) Solis/Wells
#6 (150) Mack 144 Wilson
150 Thorbahn
#15 (165) Goodrich 157 Savard
Reed 165
#5 Jenkins 175 Mattonen
#6 (215) J.Cook 190 #2 Potier
Morningstar 215 Milligan
#1 S.Cook 285 Depuydt

Outlook: Both returning qualifying teams from a year ago, this is a pretty decent dual on paper.  The lower and middle weights look to be evenly matched, with Whitehall having a little more depth in the upper weights.  The Braves nearly pulled a round one upset last year and may be able to make a run at one again, but Whitehall will be the favorite heading in.

#2 Algonac vs #7 Portland

#2 Algonac Weight #7 Portland
Langewicz 106 Feldpausch
#7 Campbell 113 Olson
#4 Gartin 120 Fernholz/Gleason
#7 Shannon/Bennett 126 #12 Webert
#13 Bright 132 #10 Miller/Kramer
#7 Clemons 138
144 #3 Pelc
Walker 150 B.Meyers
#11 (165) Romanowski 157 #16 Dodson/Guidi
Hadden 165
#1 Kasner 175 Williams/Spitzley
#7 Hiltunen 190 #11 Goodman
Ladd 215 M.Meyers
#10 Maciag/Ferrara 285

Outlook:  With both teams making their first Team State appearance in school history, this one should be exciting.  Algonac has the advantage down low and up top, with Portland's best odds to string matches together coming in the middle weights.  The Raiders may be able to make this one interesting, but the depth of the Muskrats should be enough to keep their season alive.
