D4 #1 Hudson vs D4 #5 Martin/Climax-Scotts

#3 Kimling 120 #6 Ritchie/Reitz
Miller 126 #3 (132) H.Buell
#1 C.Marry/#2 McCaskey 132 Holmes
#4 A.Marry 138 D.Buell
#1 Perry 144 #14 (150) Bagwell
#9 Pickford/Bertram 150 Walman
#5 (150) Barrett 157 Smith
#3 Campbell/Mansfield 165 Chambers/Tuinstra
#7 (165) Ryan 175 #2 Hildebrand
#2 Sallows 190 Owen
215 S.Bleeker
Raskzkowski 285 M.Bleeker

Outlook:  Martin/Climax Scotts will look to continue riding the huge wave of momentum following a quarterfinal takedown of previously-unbeaten New Lothrop.  Hudson comes in as the wire-to-wire #1 this season and posted a big quarterfinal score as well.  As far as matchups go, there's a handful of swing matches throughout the dual that Martin will need to take to stay in it; if Hudson comes out ahead in those then they could run away with it.  The Tigers are not strangers to the semifinals and have a very experienced lineup that will look to prevent the underdog Team Hybrid from another upset.

D4 #2 St. Louis vs D4 #3 Bronson

D4 #2 St. Louis Weight D4 #3 Bronson
#7 Fogel 106 Greenfield
#3 (106) Kuhn 113 #11 Fill
#1 Rodriguez 120 #11 Kimmons
#8 (120) Soto/#12 Haworth 126 #3 Lake/#8 Long

Marr 138 #9 Knisely
#5 (138) Wiggins/Farkas 144 #7 Erwin
150 #13 Seekman

Flores-Nunez 165
Rodriguez/Tweh 175 #3 Britten
#7 Onstott 190 #8 Dixon
Frye 215 #3 Blankenship
#10 Anguiano 285 Post

Outlook:  Maybe the best semifinal in any division, these two schools are both back in the semis after tough losses a year ago.  Bronson is seeking its first finals trip since 2003, while St. Louis' last appearance was in 1995.  There will be not shortage of good matchups, as the teams combine for 20 state qualifiers this year.  Each squad has some flexibility in their lineups and will look to create favorable matchups.  On paper it appears to be an 8-6 split in favor of Bronson, but the Sharks have plenty of bonus point potential that could close that gap. Consider this one as close to a toss up as it gets.

D1 #1 DCC vs D1 #5 Romeo

D1 #1 DCC Weight D1 #5 Romeo
#1 Lees/#4 Walkowiak 106 #2 Holt/Williams
#4 Dominguez 113 #13 Perry
#12 Cannon 120 #6 (126) Youngblood
#1 (132) Heethuis 126
Brewer 132 #3 Angelo
#2 Stewart 138 #6 Donovan
#1 (150) Gilcher/#1 Jones 144 #10 Zehnder
150 #10 McMillan
#1 Marines/Werner 157 #9 Rivers
#1 Adams/#3 Bunn 165 #9 Pressel/Miller
#3 Shellenberger 175
#8 Krueger 190 #2 Mirjavadi/#10 Antonelli
#1 Bercume 215
Eziuka 285 #10 Contreras

Outlook:  Romeo enters its first-ever semifinals appearance after a big win over Davison in the quarters.  DCC took the first meeting between these teams on opening week, 43-23.  Virtually every match in the dual will be between state qualifiers, so expect some high-level wrestling from start to finish.  Potential 1 vs 2 matchups at 106 and 215 add some intrigue as well.  In the end, the seven top-ranked Shamrocks should provide more than enough firepower to propel DCC back to the finals.

D1 #2 Hartland vs D1 #3 Rockford

D1 #2 Hartland Weight D1 #3 Rockford
Dunbar 106 Aguilar
#1 Abbey/Gillespie 113 Ruiz-Diaz
#7 Korponic 120 #11 Aulbach
Biggart 126 #10 Diel
#6 Culver/Cappellano 132 #2 Bunn
Wiitanen 138 #3 (144) Keller/#14 (132) Fitzpatrick
Kern 144
#5 Cappellano 150 Westcott
#2 Abbey 157 #16 Gordon/Hammingh
#2 Rochowiak/#10 Butzier 165
#5 Bobo/Darish 175 #13 (165) Bosscher
190 #1 Ahern/Starkey
#8 Pretzel 215
#7 Cox 285 Panchula

Outlook:  The other semi in D1 is also a rematch of a meeting from earlier in the year, won by Hartland by 27.  After surviving a near-upset in the opening round, look for the Eagles to try to make a statement in this morning's session.  Rockford was impressive in their quarters match, taking a decisive win over Holt.  Not much has changed from a lineup standpoint since that early season meeting, so for the Rams to pull the upset here, they'll need to flip at least three matches from the December dual.  Hartland is looking to get back to the finals for the first time since 2016, while Rockford seeks its first berth since 2010.
