The 2023 NCAA championships are wrapped up in Tulsa, and Penn State has won another team title. With Mason Parris winnin the national championship at 285lbs, Michigan jumped into 6th place in the final standings. Will Lewan finished 8th at 157lbs, and Cam Amine was an All American for the Wolverines yet again. In all, four Michiganders ended up as All-Americans:
Cameron Amine (Michigan, Detroit CC HS) - 4th at 165lbs
Will Feldkamp (Clarion, Dexter HS) - 7th at 184lbs
Max Dean (Penn State, Lowell HS) - 7th at 197lbs
Trent Hillger (Wisconsin, Lake Fenton HS) - 8th at 285lbs
For this year's contest, there were 330 valid submissions. Just as a reminder, we are used the total team points earned from each wrestler to calculate the standings. The top 3 finishers win prizes, and we will send out emails with more information on that.
