EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State wrestling team will feature a freshman each week in order to “Meet the Spartans” leading up to the 2016-17 season.
Why did you choose to wrestle at Michigan State?
I wanted to wrestle at Michigan State because they have had a lot of success in the past and are really moving forward with the program. I thought it was the best fit for me to try and achieve my goals of winning a national title.
What are you most excited about as you begin your Spartan wrestling career?
I am most excited about getting to practice with the team and running Spartan Stadium in the preseason like I watched on my visit.
When did you first start wrestling?
I first started wrestling when I was four years old.
Favorite wrestling memory?
My favorite wrestling memory was winning my first state title my junior year or wrestling for team USA at the Pittsburgh Classic this past year.
What your major at Michigan State and why?
My major is business preference and I hope to get admitted into the business college and major in accounting.
Who has taught you the most about wrestling growing up?
My dad has taught me the most about wrestling and has coached me my whole life, I wouldn’t be the wrestler I am today without his help.
What superhero power would you have if you could choose one?
Super speed because I have never been very fast.

Favorite thing to do besides wrestling?
My favorite thing to do besides wrestling is long boarding, rollerblading and hanging out with my friends.
