Will NL advance to the final 4 after entering post-season unranked?

#1 Hudson v. #8 Munising
Ranked Wrestlers: 8
This is not a good matchup for Munising. Hudson is solid up and down their lineup and it will prove to be extremely overwhelming for Munising. Hudson has 8 wrestlers rain their lineup in the rankings from 2/8 to Munising’s 0. Not much hope here for the Mustangs.
Prediction: Hudson 55 Munising 6

#4 Bronson v. #5 Springport
Ranked Wrestlers: 9
Another extremely close dual. This one that may be too close to call but we are going to give it a shot. Bronson is an extremely tough team from top to bottom and has earned thier place as the number 4 seed. They are taking 4 wrestlers to the palace out of a VERY tough D4 regional. Springport qualified 6 wrestlers to the individual finals. At the end of the day, Springport may have a few more bonus points than Bronson but this one will be CLOSE.
Prediction: Springport 29 Bronson 27

#3 Carson City-Crystal v. #6 New Lothrop
Ranked Wrestlers: 11
This is one of the more intriguing duals of the day. It is one of the few times where a #6 seed may be favored over a #3 seed but by a slim margin. Granted, CCC has a win over Pine River and New Lothrop lost to them, that was a point in the season that NL was battling injuries etc. The NL team we will see this weekend may be still battling injuries but they are tough as nails. The same can be said about Carson City Crystal, they are extremely tough and will be hard to beat. Another D4 dual that will possibly be decided by the coin flip and who can get the matchups they want.
Prediction: New Lothrop 31 Carson City Crystal 30

#2 Pine River v. #7 Clinton
Ranked Wrestlers: 6
Another tough matchup early on that could be won by both teams. While Pine River qualified 13 wrestlers to the palace in comparison to Clinton’s 8, the regionals were much different. Clinton is a team that has improved drastically over the past 5-6 years. Coach Jeff Rolland has had immense support from his administration and it is paying off for them. While a 7 seed isn’t what they expected, they are going to be ready to go after Pine River and they believe they can win. Pine River on the other hand has earned their #2 seed and expects to uphold it. They qualified a school record 13 Bucks to the state finals and plan on flexing that muscle in the quarterfinals. Division 4 might just be the most interesting to watch of all of the matches on Friday.
Prediction: Pine River 35 Clinton 28
