Michigan State announced that 2x NCAA Qualifier Anthony Tutolo, formerly of Kent State, would be transferring to East Lansing for his final year of competition.
Tutolo has compiled a 72-41 in three seasons starting for the Golden Flashes and earned automatic bids to the NCAA's in 2017 and 2018 by placing 6th and 3rd, respectively, at the MAC Championships. The former two-time Ohio state champion is expected to return to 133 pounds.
The addition of Tutolo gives the Spartans four returning NCAA Qualifiers in their young lineup, to go along with Rayvon Foley (125), Austin Eicher (141), and Drew Hughes (174). He is enrolled in graduate school at MSU and will be immediately eligible for competition.
