The top-ranked senior in Michigan is officially off the board as DCC's Kevon Davenport has announced his intentions to continue his career at the University of Nebraska.
A 3x State Champ, Davenport garnered interest from many of the top programs across the country before committing to the Huskers. Michigan, North Carolina State, and Virginia were among the final schools he considered.
The Shamrock senior has compiled a stellar resume nationally in addition to his state titles, including a Cadet Greco National title, two Cadet Freestyle All-American finishes, including a finals appearance, and, most recently, a 3rd place finish at the UWW Cadet Freestyle Nationals. He was also a GFC Champ as a Sophomore.
He projects at 157 pounds for Coach Mark Manning and will join Temperance Bedford's Austin Emerson who is a redshirt freshman for the Scarlet and Cream.
